Upon graduation from Florida State University College of Law, Mr. Waters accepted a position with the firm of Parker, Skelding, Labasky P.A. in Tallahassee, Florida.  In this position Mr. Waters gained extensive litigation experience in both State and Federal Courts throughout Florida the Eleventh Judicial Circuit.  Mr. Waters subsequently joined in the formation of the firm of Jolly, Peterson & Waters, P.A.  From 1991 through 1999, Mr. Waters represented clients in broad range of capacities including litigation and in administrative proceedings before various local and state licensing and regulatory boards.  In 2003, Mr. Waters opened his own private practice and today practices as an <strong>attorney</strong> at the firm of Waters and Associates, P.A.

Mr. Waters, a Tallahassee auto accident lawyer is a life member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi Million Dollar Advocates Forum a designation reserved for the top trial lawyers in America.  He represents Tallahassee car wrecks and all personal injury cases.

Tracee L. Ivins

Attorney Tracee L. Ivins practices in the areas of family law, personal injury and general and civil litigation.  She received her B.S. in Sociology from Florida State University and her J.D. from Nova Southeastern University.  While attending Nova Southeastern University, Ms. Ivins assisted in the compilation of a website that documented the infamous Florida right-to-die case involving Theresa M. Schiavo.

Prior to attending law school, she worked for the State of Florida, Department of Children and Families, as a certified child protective investigator, in the Miami area.  Ms. Ivins has an in depth knowledge of the child welfare system and is experienced in investigating and handling child welfare related matters.

Robert Elson

Robert Elson graduated summa cum laude from the University of South Florida in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from the Florida State University College of Law in 2001, and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2002. Robert is a member of The Florida Bar, the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.

Robert has served as an Assistant Attorney General, where he practiced in the area of Corrections Litigation. Robert has also served as an Assistant State Attorney, where he prosecuted DUI and Traffic offenses, and served as Traffic Division Supervisor. While an Assistant State Attorney, Robert was an invited speaker on the topics of 4th Amendment Search & Seizure, Traffic Stops, and DUI Investigations at the Pat Thomas Law Enforcement Academy; and was an invited panelist for the FSU College of Law Student Bar Association’s Search & Seizure Panel. Robert is a former Associate of the Jolly & Peterson Law Firm, where he practiced in the areas of Law Enforcement Liability defense and Employment defense. Most recently, Robert held the position of DUI Staff Attorney for the Florida Prosecuting Attorneys Association, where he managed a Federal grant for, and facilitated training of, prosecutors and law enforcement officers throughout Florida in DUI law, DUI prosecution, and trial advocacy skills.

Robert opened The Elson Law Firm in January 2006, where his firm’s emphasis was DUI Defense, Traffic Defense, and misdemeanor Criminal Defense. The firm also represented individuals in civil litigation involving Contract Law, Consumer Law, Landlord-Tenant Law, Personal Injury, Premises Liability, Products Liability, Employment Law, Governmental Liability, Tort Law, and more.

Robert merged his practice with the law office of Broward Taff, Jr. in 2008 and formed the Taff & Elson Law Firm, where he continued to practice in the areas of DUI Defense, Traffic Defense, Criminal Defense, Civil Litigation involving Contract Law, Consumer Law, Landlord-Tenant Law, Personal Injury, Premises Liability, Tort Law, and more.

Robert joined Waters & Associates, P.A. in August 2010 and he practices in the areas of Criminal Defense, Family Law, and General Civil Litigation.
